Dear Friends,

This month I want to salute all the couples who serve on the Ghana Christian Mission Team. Many spouses, including my own Lydia, endure days, weeks and even months without their partners as such partners may be serving in different parts of the country or even outside the country. It was therefore very refreshing when 30 couples made up of church planters and medical staff came together for marriage enrichment retreats in Tamale, Nkwanta and Sogakope in November. We sang, prayed, gave testimonies, listened to Biblical messages, had small group discussions and renewed marriage vows at special Communion Services at each location.

Happy Couples at Nkwanta Retreat

Listen to the heart of some of the couples when I asked them to write thank you notes to the Savannah Christian Church, GA, who sponsored the retreat programs:

“May the Lord Almighty God bless Savannah Christian Church for sponsoring this retreat. It is the first marriage retreat I attended with my wife

It should not stop, but must continue to strengthen Christian leaders for their growth”. Another wrote, “The retreat has helped me a lot because my wife attended with me. I therefore hope our marriage will be more firm in the Lord. God richly bless Savannah Christian Church for sponsoring the retreat”. A third spouse writes “The retreat has really rekindled our marriage in the Lord. We wish the sponsors God’s blessings. We wish to have the same program next year”. If your church, an individual or group is interested in sponsoring next year’s marriage enrichment seminar for Ghana Christian Mission staff, please contact me at: enochnyador@yahoo.com.

 Some Prayer Needs:

1. We thank God for Enoch and Raphael’s safe return to Ghana after the NMC in Peoria and speaking in some churches in the U.S.A

2. We thank God for Lydia’s continued recovery, even as she continues to do light duty at the hospital. Thank you for praying for her.

3. We thank God for faithful donor support despite the economic downturn. We are encouraged to press on with soul winning and making disciples every day.

4. Petition for the safe travel for four friends of David Ketchum who will visit Ghana from December 12 to 18. We are grateful for the ministry of Mission Resource International in Ghana.

We thank all of you and for partnering with us to give the hope of the Gospel in Ghana and beyond.

 Sincerely,

Enoch and Lydia Nyador
