ELIZABETH OWUSU-SEKYERE: MISSON NURSE AT FAME CLINIC, MAKANGO
Elizabeth Owusu-Sekyere is serving as the mid-wife and mission nurse
at the FAME clinic in Makango, a remote northern region. She has a
husband and 5 children, ranging in age from 9 to 28 years. She considers
nursing her gift of service from God.
After her training, she worked in her hometown in the Ashanti Region
of Ghana (Central Ghana) for 22 years. In 2000, she was called by FAME
to serve in the remote community of Makango in northern Ghana. Although
