FAME HOSPITAL AND EYE CENTER

LOCATION:

The 6.60 acre plot acquired for this hospital project is located between Accra and Tema near the surburb of Madina.FAME Ghana purchased this plot as far back as 1995 and has since been looking for donor assistance to build the hospital.

CATCHMENT AREA:

The FAME Hospital And Eye Center(FHAEC) will serve over 100,000 people living in Madina,Mai Dzor,Ashalley Botwe,Ogbodzo,Odzringano and Adjei Kodzo, all fast growing surburbs of Acrra and Tema.It will also serve as a referral point for the ten clinics and any future ones to be opened by FAME in the villages of Ghana.

CENTER OF MEDICAL EXCELLENCE:

It is our vision to make the FHAEC a center of medical excellence in Ghana where Christian medical practioners of all specialities could come from the U.S.A to work with and impart knowledge and skill to their Ghanaian counterparts.This would improve health care delivery in Ghana,promote goodwill between Ghana and the U.S.A and open doors for the spreading of the Gospel in Ghana.The doctor patient ratio in Ghana currently is 1:30,000 and 1:40,000 for eye doctors.We need assistance from our brothers and sisters in the U.S.A.

9.Provision of Septic System ----------------- 10,000
9.General and Eye Equipment ---------------- 150,000
