Francis
Budu Nyarko
Francis was born in 1951 in the eastern region of Ghana. He trained as a tailor, and was baptized in 1976. He graduated from Ghana Christian College in 1984 with a diploma in pastoral studies and religious education. He served as a pastor in various churches in Accra until 1988 when he began work with the Adele people. He and his family learned the Adele language and planted four churches. He continued his studies while on the mission field, and returned to GCC to graduate in 1999 with a B.A. in theological education. In September of 2002 he became the evangelist for the second urban church planted by Ghana Christian Mission, Bethel Christian Church, in Tema in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Francis and his wife Deborah have three girls, Josephine (16), Deborah (9), and Elizabeth (6).
