Dear Friends,

Greetings. I am very happy to notify you that my test results have come back negative. No cancer was found in the stone that was removed from one of my salivary glands four weeks ago. Lydia got the results today; and our gratitude to God and for life is beyond description.

We thank all of you for your prayers, notes of encouragement, phone calls, cards and just "plain good old Christian solid solidarity" with us through this trial. Please say another prayer of thanksgiving to our Father on our behalf. We request more prayer as I wait for the nerves which were affected by the surgery to recover and heal fully...which may take up to six months. Sensitivity is returning slowly, but a good deal of numbness remains in one half of my mouth plus a slight palsy.

Many of you have been asking of Lydia's health status. I am glad to report that her recovery remains steadily on course. She is back to seeing patients and doing minor eye surgeries. We are trusting God that before long, she would start doing major eye surgeries again. Thank you God! Thank you our dear Christian Family.

Please continue to also pray for my continuing visits here in the U.S.A. My week at the North American Christian Convention in Indianapolis was very rewarding, as I was able to reconnect with many old friends and partners in missions and also made some new acquaintances. A major event was a program to mark the 40th anniversary of FAME on Thursday July 8, at which I was honored to be the main speaker. FAME continues to spread the FAME of Christ around the world through medical evangelism and we in Ghana Christian Mission feel privileged to be in partnership with them.

I arrived in the Denver, Colorado metropolis on Saturday night and will be joined by Hayford Ahiabu, who arrives from Ghana tonight. Together, we shall speak in churches in Parker, Aurora, Lamar, Greeley and other places before returning to Ghana on July 26.

If there is anyway we can pray with you, let us know. We are family in Christ. We love you all.

WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE

MULTIPLYING LIFE AND HOPE,
