Ernest Nyador has been the evangelist of the Akplale Christian Church since 1996 and has baptized over 600 converts. His major vision is to get the numerous idol worshippers in his area to repent and turn to the Lord. He doubles as a nurse and evangelist, which has helped him witness to patients who sought medical treatment. His work as nurse and pastor has led to decreased idol worship in some villages, which has led to stiff opposition from them. However, he remains focused with the Lord as his power.
The following is Ernest's recent report from the mission field in September/October. Please join us in thanking God and asking for his continued work:
I thank God for his protection and provisions for family and me. I am also grateful to God for enabling me to be part of the participants at the Mission Resource Seminar at Akplale. Enoch and Emmanuel taught beneficiaries of Mission Resource about Business Management.
The church is grateful to God for sustaining members. Some of the old backsliders are coming back. The church had a successful funeral service for Sarah who died at the age of 115.
Praying for my daughter Doris to get a good school for her teaching practical. Praying for my son Bright to have a good beginning at the Physician Assistant school.
The church decided to raise funds on Sunday the 30th for projects. The church is also asking prayer for all who are sick.
