“For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” – Isaiah 44:3 (NIV)

Access to clean and safe drinking water is vital for healthy living and sustainable community development. In Loagri, located in the Mamprugu - Moagduri District of the North East Region, the lack of potable water had long posed serious health, social, and economic challenges. For many years, families in this rural community struggled to access clean and safe water. They depended on unsafe sources, leading to health challenges and daily hardship. To address this, a water project (drilling and mechanization of a well) was initiated in June and completed in August, 2025.
With great joy, we announce the successful drilling and mechanization of a well which will serve as a fountain of blessing to the people in Loagri. Through the grace of God and the generous support of International Disaster and Emergency Services (IDES), the people of Loagri now have a reliable source of fresh, safe, life-giving water!
This well will provide clean and safe drinking water for many households in Loagri. It will also reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases. It will also save time spent, especially by women and children, in fetching water from distant sources and also promote hygiene and sanitation practices in the community. Also, a high level of sanitation will be maintained in the FAME clinic at Loagri due to the abundance of water from the well. Additionally, the drilled well will help reduce the risk of infection from unhygienic environments where unsafe water is used.
This drilled well is going to have a transformative impact on the people of Loagri and the clinic staff as well, greatly improving their health, education, and economic activities. Continued support and sustainable management will ensure that the benefits are long-lasting and extend to future generations.
Pastor Nathaniel Abdullai, who is the church planter at Loagri, remarked after the completion of the project that, “This borehole is an answer to prayer. We thank God for giving us life through clean water.” Dorcas, who is a student at the basic school in Loagri, also said “Now I can go to school on time because I won’t spend hours fetching water.”
We give thanks to God Almighty for making this project possible. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to IDES, community leaders, and every hand that contributed to this success. As stewards of this blessing, the community has committed to maintaining the borehole, promoting hygiene, and ensuring that this gift serves generations to come.
This well stands not only as a source of water but also as a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Truly, clean water brings life, hope, and transformation.

Thanksgiving
We give thanks to the Almighty for all grace upon our lives. For the past month the churches experienced joyful encounters under His mighty hands.
Testimony
We organized a revival service in the Yzesi church last month. A lady named Ramatu attended the program with a10months old pregnancy. She was a Christian who abandoned her faith after being married. Pressure have been mounted on her by the family to visit a fetish priest for delivery. Remembering the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, she came on the third day with just one request: "O Lord, deliver me". We prayed with her fervently on Monday evening during the program. But she didn't reveal unto us the desperation she was going through. The following day as she was preparing to visit us again, she started feeling some abdominal pains and that night she gave birth putting her family to shame. The following Sunday she shared this wonderful testimony in the church vowing not to go back again.
Prayer request
· Pray for peace in Ghana especially in the North where we are witnessing tribal conflicts and disputes over lands.
· Pray for the leadership of Yzesi church to continue to work hard and serve the church faithfully.
· Pray for all backslidden members of Yzesi church. Pray that they will find their way back to Christ like Ramatu.
Pastor Paul Akuteye – Kumasi
The number 8 which is considered the number of wealth and abundance indicating an inner authority and empowerment. It is deeply associated with the concept of eternity. May God richly bless you for your support and partnership for us all as a church. The month eight, 1st Kings 6: 28, Heb. 12: 29 and 1st Kings 18: 24. Theme for the month of August is “Consuming Fire for New Beginning”. Eight souls – 1 Peter 3:20. Spiritual meaning of the month of August is honesty, courage, truthfulness, royalty, reliable and patience. The month of August is really a month of challenges, and conquest and a time of harvest and abundance. The church in Kumasi just ended 40 days of fasting and prayer. The goal to exploit effective strategies, initiatives and collaborative efforts to support church growth and development. Our children in Kumasi and Ghana had a successful Junior High School exams and by the grace of God all came out successfully without any incidents and any examination malpractices. Five of our members also from the High school came in their numbers for prayers before writing their final examination as they have worked hard and studied towards the exams. We are praying that all of them will pass successfully and enter into the tertiary institutions. Due to the weather pattern in Kumasi, we are also spending enough time in doing indoors studying of the Bible about Soul winning and evangelism with the intention of going out to do house to house evangelism in the months of September to the end of December 2025. We are believing God that this next quarter ahead us, the good Lord will shower His rains of blessing on us to be able to win more souls for the Kingdom. We have been denied the winning of New Converts and the baptism of new souls for some time now. Finally, may your partnership and support for us as a church not go unnoticed.
John Newman Peni – Nkwanta
We have been able to have our Municipal Youth Camp at Brewaniase even though there was no peace in the area due to the tribal conflict. We took the risk of having this convention because due to this conflict for about three years we are not able to come together to have fellowship and study together to rekindle us spiritually.
At this convention we were able to study the word of God on the theme, “Everyone Matters”. We prayed for peace in the area especially for our brethren from the Akyode area because they could not join us due to the conflict situation. We also had a lot of fun to the glory of God.
Even though the attendance was low, the convention was glorious.
Prayer Request
· We need prayers for the area because we continue to hear rumors of shootings which indicates that the area is still not safe. We depend on God to bring unity and peace.
· Properties of some of our brethren from the Akyode area have been destroyed. God should meet their needs.
· Pray that the leaders of the churches in the Nkwanta area will continue to work hard to bring more people to Christ.

Nkwanta Municipal Youth Convention at Brewaniase
Pastor Nathaniel Napari Abdulai - Loagri
Thanks to God for His guidance and protection over my life and family and also the churches at Loagri, Soo, and Kuchoglim. We are grateful to God for taking us through the month of August and also for the successful leaders retreat which was held in the Loagri Church bringing all Pistis Christian Churches in Mamprugu Moaduri District together on 26th of August and ended on the 27th of August.
The Church is appreciating God and Ghana Christian Mission (GCM) for the opportunity that was given to the Loagri Church to host the program and the facilitator of the training, our brother and father Ross B. Wissmann PhD, who came from Australia to help us through the teachings on ideas to promote life, energy, and growth in our Churches. The leadership of the churches are grateful for the time and resources spent on the training. It is our prayer that God will continue to increase, guide and protect GCM and Ross B. Wissmann PhD in all endeavors.
Prayer Requests
· Pray for spiritual growth in our churches. Pray that God will help us minister to the people effectively and bring about an increase of believers in the community in Jesus’ name.
· Pray for provision. Pray that God will help and bless people to help me get a new motor-bike to replace my old motor-bike which visits the mechanics shop all the time for repairs and which is making my mission work difficult.
· Pray for the Loagri church as we make plans to purchase a sound system for use during our church services and outreach programs.

Pastor Bismark Kassata - Brewaniase
Glory to God for His goodness and mercy upon our lives. By grace we are doing great here in the Ntrubo Area.
The Nkwanta area had our youth convention in Brewaniase community and by grace everything went well. Even in the midst of a tribal conflict, the good Lord saw us through. One sad thing about the program was that the Akyode youth could not come because of the conflict in the Nkwanta area which prevented all the churches in the Akyode Area from participating in the convention. Most of the members of the Akyode churches are currently all over the Ntrubo Area as refugees.
Prayer Requests
· Kindly pray for the peace of God to intervene in the tribal conflict between the Akyodes and Challas in the Nkwanta area.
· Pray for the Ntrubo Area Churches who are hosting victims of the tribal conflict which has caused many families to flee their homes.
· Pray for a means of sustenance for these victims because they have lost their means of livelihood and income to the conflict.
· Please pray for the Ntrubo leadership because their commitment level is not encouraging as far as the kingdom works are concerned. The committed ones are old and cannot work as they used to.
· Pray for the Lord to raise young, energetic and vibrant leaders for the Ntrubo churches.
· Pray that the Lord watches over us and keeps us all to see the end of the next month.
Pastor Francis Addae - Salaga
Greetings from Pastor Francis Addae and the churches in the Salaga area to you all. I actually need your attention for prayers. Since February 2025 till now I have not been myself and God is my witness. My blood pressure (BP) and my sugar level (I am Diabetic) are not stable. I had to conduct so many laboratory tests and scans which proved that my kidney’s function is reduced.
I have booked an appointment to see a specialist doctor in Kumasi to see what can be done for my kidneys. As your co-laborer in Christ, I need to inform you. Kindly keep me in your prayers always.
In spite of all the health challenges, we are pressing on. I want to appreciate the management team for the support given to me on behalf of Pastor Kofi, my Son in the Lord.
We continue to pray and trust God to make a way for us to roof our churches and also provide motorcycle to facilitate the work that we do.
His name be glorified.
Pastor Lengie Lazarus – Chinderi
We give all glory to God for His unwavering grace and faithfulness throughout the month of August 2025. It has been a month of spiritual impact, strategic evangelism, and encouraging progress in both ministry and church development projects. Despite challenges in some locations, the passion and resilience of the churches remain strong. Below is a summary of the key activities and ongoing projects across our field.
Ministry Activities
v Week of Fasting and Prayers – Chinderi Church: From 29th to 31st August 2025, Chinderi Church successfully held its monthly Week of Breakthrough Fasting and Prayers. The time was marked by intense intercession, spiritual renewal, and testimonies of divine encounters. The attendance and participation reflected deep hunger for God’s move among the members.
v Annual fund raising – Chinderi Church: On the 31st of August 2025, Chinderi Church also organized its Annual Harvest to support their ongoing church building project. The event was well-coordinated and witnessed strong participation from church members and the wider community.
v Evangelism and Soul-Winning – Abrewanko (New Church): The evangelism and soul-winning team at the newly established Abrewanko Church is actively working to expand the church and reach unreached souls. Their commitment and results thus far are commendable, and the church continues to gain new members.
v Women’s Enrichment Seminar – Chinderi Zone: The Chinderi Zone hosted a powerful Women's Enrichment Seminar with the theme: "United in Purpose". The main text was drawn from Amos 3:3 – “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” The seminar brought together women across the zone to pray, learn, and be equipped for greater kingdom impact.
Church Projects
v Magnendo Church – Building Project: We are excited to report that Magnendo Church has officially commenced its church building project. The foundation stage is underway, and the members are united in their efforts to see the structure completed.
v Lumbuisu Church – Worshipping Under a Tree: Lumbuisu Church continues to hold services under a tree due to lack of a permanent worship structure. Despite this, the congregation remains steadfast and hopeful for divine provision and support.
v Namondo Church – Worshipping Under a Tree: Similarly, Namondo Church is also conducting all services under a tree. The need for a church building in this area is urgent, and we continue to trust God and seek support for this essential project.
Prayer Requests
v Provision of Church Structures for Lumbuisu and Namondo churches. Pray for open doors, resources, and favor.
v Spiritual Growth and Maturity for all new converts in Abrewanko and other mission fields.
v Strength and Wisdom for the leadership and evangelism teams across all churches.
v Successful Completion of the Magnendo and Chinderi church building projects.
v Continued Unity and Vision among women in the Chinderi Zone and across the field.
Pastor Collins Mawusi - Banda.
Greetings to us all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We extend our profound gratitude to GCM and all our partners and donors, local and abroad.
By God's grace all our churches and leaders are doing very well and are in a good health.
Activities:
By God's grace we organized evangelism which led some new souls to Christ. We also organized our children ministry for evangelism by walking through the entire community, singing and inviting the children who did not know Christ to Him. This led to some children giving their lives to Christ and joining the church as well. The leadership of the church also organized a joint service at Jama Nkwanta which sparked the faith of believers to be Kingdom-minded and support God's Kingdom works.
Testimonies
· We thank God for healing one Muslim man whose daughter joined the church seven months ago and has been very consistent in all prayer meetings.
· We thank God for His saving and healing power on some of our church members who were involved in motor accident.
Prayer Requests
· Pray with us for the new souls awaiting baptism.
· Pray with us for the lady from the Muslim family who joined the church, that through her God will have mercy on the entire home to know and receive Christ as their Lord and Savior.
· Pray with us that God will strengthen and help the lady from the Muslim family to be well rooted in God's word despite the challenges and attacks.
· Pray with us that God will touch the heart of donors and members to support financially the upcoming crusade at Katiejeli in November 2025.
· Pray with the Woae Chabor branch that God will touch the heart of donors and members to support in building a pavilion on our church land to avoid losing the land to some people already interested in possessing the land.
· Pray with my family that God will supply our needs in kind and financially as my two children are resuming school after their holidays.
Pastor Matthew Nwedo and Pastor Yahaya Abraham - Bulenga
We greet you in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful to God for His grace and to the leadership of GCM for their continuous support toward the Chakali mission field in the Upper West Region, Wa East District.
God continues to show His faithfulness among the Chakali people group. We thank Him for steady progress in all three churches under our care: Bulenga Church, Ducie Church, and Jayiri Church. Although some members still face opposition from their families because of their Christian faith, the churches are growing gradually, and the believers remain committed.
Ducie Church
In August, by God’s grace, the family of Pastor Matthew Nwedo was able to purchase five benches for the church at Ducie. In the past, we often had to go from house to house begging for benches and plastic chairs before each service. This provision has brought great relief to the congregation.
As mentioned in our July report, the church has been allocated land by the community opinion leaders. For now, services are held under a tree, which is very challenging, especially during rainfall as it disrupts worship. We continue to pray and trust God to provide support to help put up a permanent worship structure.
Jayiri Church
The Jayiri congregation continues to worship faithfully, though they meet in a classroom as they do not yet have land or a permanent place of worship. We are trusting God to provide land and resources so that a church building can be raised. We thank God for the steady increase in attendance every Sunday.
Bulenga Church and Mission House
The Bulenga church is also progressing well. By God’s grace and through the support of the management of GCM, there is a building project ongoing in the mission house which is to help provide enough space for both families when completed. We are deeply grateful for this provision and pray for its speedy completion.
Children’s Preaching Competition
In August, World Vision organized a Children’s Preaching Competition among the churches in the Bulenga area. By the grace of God, five children from our churches participated in this program. The grand finale was held on 1st August, and we are delighted to report that from the 1st to the 5th positions, our children took all the top spots.
What makes this testimony even more remarkable is that some of these children come from Muslim backgrounds, while others are Christians. Through the “Greatest Journey” (a Samaritan’s Purse program), we create space for all children, regardless of their background, to be part of the program and learn the Word of God. This opened the door for them to participate in the competition and grow in their knowledge of Christ.
This event was not only a platform for nurturing the children’s talents and confidence but also a great opportunity for evangelism. We trust that the seeds of the gospel planted in their hearts will continue to bear fruit in their lives and families.
Appreciation
We sincerely thank God Almighty for how far He has brought us. We also thank the management of GCM, partners and donors for your prayers, guidance, and financial support. Your partnership is a great encouragement to us and to the believers in the Chakali mission field.
Prayer Requests
· Pray for the spiritual growth and strength of the believers in all three churches.
· Pray for courage and perseverance for members facing family opposition.
· Pray for God’s provision of church buildings, especially for Ducie and Jayiri congregations.
· Pray for the successful completion of the mission house project in Bulenga.
· Pray for fruitful evangelism efforts so that more souls among the Chakali people will come to Christ.
· Pray for the children who participated in the preaching competition, that the Word of God sown in their hearts will continue to grow.
Pastor Yona Lati – Borae
May the peace and the grace of our master Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied to you all. Greetings from the district of Borae. By the divine intervention of God, these following activities were observed and very successful in the month of August.
Revivals
By the grace of God, Borae district held its district youth convention and the host town was Ayigbe Akura. All the youth traveled to Ayigbe to observe and learn from the word of God and from one another. By the grace of God, the following activities were observed; football competitions, volley ball competitions, lime and spoon, bible quiz competitions.
All zones in the district participated, thus Ayigbe Akura zone, Borae zone, Magnendo zone, and Jato Akura zone,
During the football competition the whole district formed a team, and played against the town team and won by two goals to nil and also Ayigbe zone came up top for the bible quiz competitions.
One most important of all activity observed was evangelism. Most youth participated in town and door to door evangelism, and by the grace of God, 20 souls received Christ during the youth convention held.
During the day of climax, an altar call was made, and the elder of the Ayigbe Akura zone leader's mother received Christ. She was into idol worship but has found new life in Christ and is yet to be baptized.
Baptisms
In the month of August, 19 souls received Jesus Christ and were baptized through immersion.
Projects
By the grace of God, the Borae building project has reached the stage fixing glass windows, flooring with tiles, and painting. The leadership of the church scheduled to raised funds on 7th of August to continue this project by purchasing tiles. And an estimated amount of GHC150,000.00 (approx. 12,000 USD) is needed to begin the first phase of tiling the church auditorium. We continue to pray and trust God that the target amount for the fundraising will be achieved.
Prayer Requests
We kindly need your prayer support for the following:
· Pray that souls immersed during our youth convention will grow in their faith and grow in the Lord so that one day they can also win others to Christ.
· Pray that adequate funds will be raised to complete Phase 1 of the tiling of the Borae central church building.
Pastor Yeboah Ernest Junior - Garu
I express heartfelt gratitude for God's boundless love and graciousness that has been so abundantly evident within the church community throughout the month of August. We are delighted to report that all church activities remain vibrant and ongoing, contributing to the spiritual growth and communal bonding of our members as we strive to bring glory and honor to God through every endeavor we undertake.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to each member, congregation leader, and volunteer who has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and uplifting atmosphere of our church during this past month. Your dedication and unwavering commitment to the church's mission and activities are what make our community flourish.
Pastor Yeboah Ernest Junior - FAME Clinic, Benwoko
I praise God, for His loving kindness towards all staff during the month of August. For our God is faithful.
Prayers and sharing the word of God are still ongoing. All clinical activities are still ongoing. Team work among staff is very helpful, which has proven to be a strong bond among the staff for the well-being of our patients. God continues to heal the sickness of our patients by medicines and prayers in Jesus Christ's mighty name.
We thank management of Ghana Christian Mission (GCM) and FAME USA for donation of medical supplies which were sent to us in the month of August.
We appreciate the continued timely supply of medicine by GCM management, which enables us to deliver good healthcare to our patients. We hope and pray for the month of September will be more glorious in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
God bless FAME Health Service as we continue to spread the Fame of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ernest Nyador – FAME Clinic, Akplale
The month of August ended successfully. Glory be to God for His goodness and leadership. All other activities at the facility are ongoing including devotions. Every staff at the facility is zealous to work.
The water treatment center work is still in progress. Some laboratory tests for the water quality are also ongoing.
Our prayer request is for the community folks to stop self-medication, but seek early treatment at the facility.
Pastor Kingsley Nyindam – FAME Clinic, Tatindo
To God Almighty be praised forever. The extension work at the facility is completed and awaiting commissioning for use. Also, we received some hospital equipment to aid the work at the clinic. We thank God, and also appreciate management for the great work done.
The rate of absenteeism of the staff is of great concern if not checked will have very negative impact on the smooth running of the clinic. The old facility looks very dilapidated, and needs some major renovation to give it a facelift.
We pray that the new building will be dedicated and opened for use to ease congestion at the old facility building. Let us also pray for more and dedicated staff.

Hospital beds and other medical items received from FAME USA
Pastor Felix Nsejamese - FAME Clinic, Kumdi
The Bible says to be thankful in all circumstances. We give thanks to God for all He has done for the clinic at Kumdi.
In spite of all the challenges at the clinic, our good Lord continues to do great things in the clinic. Glory be to His name forever.
A brother from Konjado was involved in an accident. He was brought to the clinic and was admitted. Through prayers he has been treated and discharged.
The Lord is doing wonderful things in the clinic. Labor cases that we see, by the grace of God, have all led to successful deliveries. Mothers and babies are always discharged without any complications. To God be all the glory.
We appreciate FAME USA for the donation of medical supplies to the clinic. God richly bless management of GCM and all donors and partners as well.
Pastor Paul Teivi Lawson – FAME Clinic, Loagri
We give glory to the Lord because He reigns in our hearts and in our community.
We received, as promised, some hospital equipment and supplies that will help the facility in their work.
We are visiting the clinic for sharing of the word of God, prayers and diverse assistance.
A mechanized borehole has been drilled at Loagri to improve the water situation at the facility. We’re grateful to God that through International Disaster and Emergency Services (IDES) this project was carried out. We pray that funds will be provided to complete all renovation works in the clinic.
