The month of January 2021 had been a joyful celebration as the church was able to witness the baptism of four converts. They included three ladies and one gentleman from our third assembly at Domeabra Pistis Christian Churches in Kumasi.
Prayer Requests
Please continue to pray for God’s grace and favor for all the Pistis churches in Kumasi as most of the congregants have lost their jobs and are struggling financially due to COVID-19.
Pray for the Oduom PCC as thieves broke in and stole some items on January 12; sadly, this is the third time the building has been broken into.
The three local churches of the Pistis family of Kumasi need one mini bus to convey our members to and from church services on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings.
It is our prayer that the good Lord will bring us a benevolent person or persons to help us purchase the said mini bus.
Thanksgiving
Kindly join us in thanking God for a successful celebration of a marriage ceremony between our youth leader, Mr. Alex, and Miss Lydia Owusu, both coming from the Oduom assembly of the Pistis Christian Churches in Kumasi. The leadership joined him to pay for the dowry in the bride’s hometown of Yabi in the Ashanti Region on January 22.
The blessing of the marriage was done by Pastor Francis Addai, the resident pastor of the Salaga Pistis Christian Churches in the Northern Region of Ghana on January 24 in the Oduom church auditorium of the Pistis Christian Churches in Kumasi.
Indeed your partnership and support for us as a church will not go unnoticed. May the early months in the year of 2021 bring us much blessing to help us persevere through any challenge the year might present.

The month of January was set aside for prayers and fasting. All members were asked to actively participate in this spiritual exercise. Members fasted on their days of birth (that is Monday, Tuesday, etc.). We met every evening from Monday to Friday for prayers and teaching on the importance of prayer in the life of Christians and the church. It was a remarkably successful program.
Prayer request: We need prayers for two of our members who are sick: Deaconess Yaami Nukpese and Sister Rose Akakpo. They have been sick for the past one year. Pray for their total healing.
Ernest Nyador, Akplale Christian Church from Agave

We thank God for seeing us through the first month of the year. No baptism has been recorded so far. This month was a busy month for me, as I was busy putting things in order for my father's burial and final funeral rites. We thank God that everything went on well. Continue to bear us in prayers. Pray for our brethren who lost their entire livelihood to last year's floods that destroyed their farms.
