Francis Addae works among the Gonja and Komkomba people groups in the East Gonja district at Salaga and its surrounding villages in the Northern region of Ghana.
The following is Francis' latest report from the mission field. Please join us in thanking God and asking for His continued work:
Glory be to God for the month of October. My family and l have been protected from all the plans of the enemy who wants us to fail in life. God is so good to us and may his name be gloried.
I also thank God for his mercies towards my family. From January till now our God is so faithful to us by providing our needs and healing our diseases.
Our requests are:
1. We need prayer in order to enter into the year 2020 with all my family.
2. We are requesting prayer for good health and long life.
3. That God should grant us travel mercies through the rest of the year and beyond.
4. More prayer for Sarah my daughter, who has delivered through surgery, to have speedy recovery.
About the ministry:
We thank God so much for protection and guidelines he has given on to us up to now. God has strengthened our churches from the beginning of the year until the end of October. We still hope that December will reach all the members in the churches.
We also thank God for a Brother, whose name is Anthony, that has developed an interest to go to Bible College to acquire biblical knowledge to help in the field work to win souls for Christ.
We also thank God for our sponsors who, one way or the other, raise funds to support we the evangelists in the ministry.
We thank God for this Naming Ceremony by Sarah my daughter and the husband. During the ceremony, to my surprise, they named the child after me!
Our prayer requests:
The churches under me are organizing one-month prayer and fasting for the growth of the ministry and prayer for all our donors to receive God’s blessings.
God has laid on my heart to have a get-together as a project in Christmas to cook for my Sunday school children in my communities where we have our churches and also feed prisoners at Salaga prisons since we teach them every Thursday. I need both your prayers and financial support.
We need prayers for all the GCM workers, both office staffs, evangelist, clinics staffs on the field, as well as our elders in the Churches. We need God’s protection and provision to all their needs, and also to carry them to see the end of this year and beyond.
I am asking prayers for Brother Anthony to have support to go for theological training at Tamale in order for him to use his God-given talent to do the Lord’s work in the field to win souls for the Kingdom of God.
Prayers for both our church and the mission house, which needs more attention due to rain storm.
My last prayer request goes to our Brothers and Sisters who have put it upon themselves to support GCM. May God be with them and provide for all their needs.
May God see us through as we enter into Christmas Season. God should also guide us from accidents as we are approaching Christmas Conventions.
Special Request:
This is a suggestion: Our church at Nikata off the road to Ekumdi is requesting a school. The community does not have a school. They started one and they were having about 100 and more pupils, but due to financial difficulties the school is not functioning any longer and the children are suffering. Therefore, the community opinion leaders have approached Pastor Isaiah to talk to FAME Ghana to take over the school to save the children’s lives from staying home without schooling.
