Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

In a world filled with competing voices and shifting values, Christian education stands as a beacon of truth, hope, and transformation. At Ghana Christian Mission (GCM), we believe that providing children and young adults with a Christ-centered education is not only a powerful tool for academic and personal development, but also a vital part of fulfilling the Great Commission.

Christian education does more than teach reading, writing, and arithmetic. It integrates biblical truth into every subject and life lesson, shaping students to think critically, act compassionately, and live faithfully.

In communities where our mission serves, whether rural villages or urban centers, our Christian schools and training centers provide a safe, nurturing environment where students learn that their identity is rooted in Christ. They are taught not just how to succeed, but why success matters in the light of eternity.

Also, they are offered an opportunity to make life meaningful. For example, our vocational training school in Yizesi, provides young ladies an opportunity to learn sewing which after completion, provides a source of livelihood for them. In these villages and communities, without a job to provide your needs, the only option becomes marriage at a very tender age. This school has not only provided a source of survival for these young girls but has also saved them from premature marriages and childbirth.

Our church planters who are also given theological education and training from our Bible school also become agents of transformation in the villages and communities in which they serve. They have studied diligently and are working hard to bring many to Christ with the word of truth.

Thanks to your prayers and support, we’ve been able to:

  • Partner with 2 basic schools and one vocation training center in underserved regions, offering over 600 children daily access to both quality education and the gospel.

  • Trained over 200 church leaders, on various leadership topics and issues, equipping them to be mentors and spiritual leaders in the communities in which they serve.

  • Provide bible literature and audio bibles to help church leaders train their members with the word of God. Those who can read are offered the hardcopy bibles and those who cannot read are taught with the audio bibles (supported by Unknown Nations).

  • Partners with Bring Good News international: to Provide training for Church Leaders

The moderator of the Vocational training center recently shared, “This is more than a job. It’s a calling. I get to help these young girls know Jesus while preparing them for the future. I cannot think of a much better way to serve God and make an impact in these young lives than this”

Christian education doesn’t just change individual, it transforms families and communities. When young people are taught to view their world through the lens of Scripture, they grow into leaders who influence their culture for Christ. The effects ripple outward: churches grow stronger, families thrive, and hope is restored in once-broken places.

We invite you to continue walking with us as we expand our educational outreach. Whether through prayer, financial giving, or volunteering, your partnership is vital. Together, we are not only building educational centers, we’re building lives founded on the Rock.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Let us keep planting seeds of truth in young hearts, trusting God for a harvest of righteousness.

Prayer points:

  • Kindly help us thank the Lord for all church planters and clinic staff of GCM who continue to share the Good News about our Lord Jesus Christ through the churches and clinics.

  • Kindly help us thank the Lord for the management and board of GCM.

  • Kindly help us thank the Lord for all donors and partners who have consistently supported GCM over the years. Pray that God will bless them and replenish all resources spent on GCM.

  • Kindly pray for boldness and safety for our missionaries as they about dividing and sharing the word of truth.

  • Kindly pray that all the souls won during such evangelistic efforts will remain rooted and grounded in Christ.

  • Kindly pray for hearts to be open to the Gospel in hard-to-reach places.

  • Kindly pray for GCM as we explore a new mission field among the Kantosi people group.

  • Pray for all upcoming trips of GCM during the month of June and July.

MONTHLY REPORTS

Pastor Paul Akuteye

April is a month of new beginnings. It also symbolizes renewal and encourages believers to reflect on their lives and embrace the redemption offered through Jesus Christ.

Mr. Nsiah the Muslim friend who had a mild stroke is responding to treatment from the University Hospital. Join us his prayer as we appeal to his family to join the Jesus Kingdom and family in Oduom P. C. C.

The church in Oduom observed a three 3-day renewal service from 23rd to 27th April 2025. We are believing God that after these renewal services, members will attend church regularly, give generously, love radically, bring others consistently, volunteer joyfully and share Jesus willingly. This month of April is declared as our month of everlasting victory.

Let us take a moment to reflect on the blessings that await us. This is a time of renewal, growth and transformative opportunities. It is our prayer that, this month will be filled with favor, breakthroughs and abundance of Joy.

Sampson Darko

God is good all the time. We blessed the Lord in all situations.

Pastors Daniel and Jonas

Greetings from Daniel and Jonas to you all in the Lord. We are doing great, by grace, and so is the Sisaala Pasaasal people group.

May the good Lord be praised – we are pleased to inform you about a children ministry we started. This ministry was started as a result of we showing love to two children by helping them mend their uniforms for school and five children to whom we gave the Samaritan Purse last year. Since then, the rest joined by these seven children inviting them. A Special thanks to FAME Ghana for providing us with resources especially the Samaritan Purse to reach out to these children.

Progressively, we are getting accustomed to the culture and the language of the people.

Finally, we implore you to help us pray for the Children Ministry to be firm, and for more children to and come join, and may the grace of Lord continue to abide with us.

Pastor Yona Yonah

We bring you greeting from our savior and our Lord Jesus Christ, who died and arose from the grave, to all.

Because of the excessive grace of God, all churches, members, and leaders are doing so well.

Through God's intervention, the following activities were observed and successful in the month of April 2025.

Revivals/ Conventions

Borae District/ Oti-su : by the grace of God,  the zone scheduled to observed this celebration at Oti-su,  where all the iland churches are located. By the grace of God, all churches around the zone were all present. The convention began peacefully and ended on a good note, in this convention, four new souls received Jesus Christ as their lord and were baptized by immersion.  In addition, four deaconesses and three new elders were ordained to the glory of God.

Baptisms

Six (6) new souls received Christ; four were immersed at Oti-su, during the Easter convention and two at Okpalama.

·      Firstly, we want you thank the lord the hearing of prayer concerning the Dambai Christian church building, and the travelling mercies granted to the coordinator for church planting and I pastor Yona Lati, and all the members for travelling on sea for about three and half hours to and from Oti-su for the Easter convention.

Pastor Lengie Lazarus

Greetings from the churches in Chinderi Zone. We praise God for His divine protection and care over the pastors, elders, and members in the zone throughout April 2025.

By the grace of God, the following activities were successfully executed in the month:

1. Palm Sunday Celebration: On April 13, 2025, the Chinderi Branch joyfully celebrated Palm Sunday. The celebration was marked by wonder and amazement, and we were honored to have churches like the Evangelical Church of Ghana (ECG) and ROH Global Ministry join us on this special occasion.

2. Church Building Project: Unfortunately, the Chinderi Branch church building project remains incomplete. The onset of the rainy season has posed significant challenges, making it difficult to hold church services due to the lack of adequate shelter. We are earnestly seeking divine intervention to complete this project.

Prayer Request

We humbly request your prayers for two significant endeavors:

1. We have initiated discussions to establish a new branch in the village of Abrewanko and seek your prayers for guidance and success in this venture.

2. Completion of Chinderi Church Building:

We pray that the Lord touches the hearts of many to generously support us in completing the Chinderi church building, enabling us to worship without hindrance.

Pastor Kingsley Nyindam

To God Almighty be all the praise for seeing us through the month of April 2025. This month was very eventful.

Baptisms: five persons received Christ as their personal Lord and savior, and were baptized. Continue to pray for them for their new found faith and that they will be rooted in the Lord.

The area churches observed the festivities in their respective churches, but on Easter Sunday, which was the resurrection Sunday, entire churches held a join service which all the assemblies gathered at Nyorkulbu to celebrate our resurrected Lord Jesu Christ. The attendance was massive.

Church building: The Tatale church building has seen some progress. The wood work on the roof is almost done, we are trusting God for the roofing sheets, which an amount of Thirty Thousand Ghana cedis will be able to buy.

Also, the Nanbong church building which was made of mud is facing a possible collapse if urgent attention is not given to it. The worshippers take serious risk in having service in such a building. Please we your prayers and support.

Pastor Ernest Nyador

By the grace of God, the month of April was very successful with a baptism.

Easter activities took place as well.

Evangelism is being intensified in every community. The church's vision to plant another church is still in place.

The church will have her annual fundraising service on May 25th.

There are many developmental works the church have to do and we pray for the funds to do them.

I am very grateful for God's leadership and guidance throughout the month of April.

Some of the staffs are currently out of post for various reasons known to the Fame Management Team.

Those present are very serious with work, despite their fatigue.

Availability of medicine at the facility is constant.

The Fame of the facility is spreading all over the communities.

I pray for greater achievements in the coming month.

Pastor Felix Nsejamese

We are so grateful to the Lord for his grace and mercies upon us.

Lamentations 3:22-23

Praise the Lord for His loving mercy over our lives.

The churches in the Ntrubo area are doing well by grace are doing well.

By grace, l had the opportunity to witness the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ to a group of guys who were into marijuana and hard drugs smokers one evening. After some 15 minutes we requested that those who want to give their life to the Lord should raise up their hands; no one did but l prayed and thanked God for their lives. On Sunday of that week, two guys came to church. When asked their mission, they identified themselves as part of the group I shared the Word of God with and said they have come to give their life to Christ.

Praise the Lord and pray for them so that the rest will also stop taking the hard drugs and give their life to Christ.

Request: I humbly request you to pray for the widows of the 2 elders who passed awa.

·      I humbly request you to pray for the leaders of the Ntrubo churches.

·      Pray for me also to be able to organize the funeral of the Salifukrom elder.

Pastor Paul

Blessings and honor to the Almighty God for his precious hands upon our lives and the ministry.

We celebrated Easter in our different communities under the theme "Jesus in the community" based on Luke 24:13-31.

We used that opportunity to underline peace, love and hope among all of us.

Prayer request:

Let's us pray for pastors who are facing challenges in the depraved areas.

Pastor Newman

We could not organize an Easter convention in the area because life has not come back to normal in the area but the Nkwanta church has been able to meet from the easter Friday to Sunday to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. On easter Friday and Saturday, there were lessons on the “Power and Benefits of the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ” and Sunday was the climax of the celebration with praise and worship to our God almighty for what he had done for us.

There was also a child naming and dedication ceremony of my grandson in the church.

Prayer

1. Pray for quick recovery and improvement of my sight.

2. The church we planted at Agric area has still not been meeting because the area is still not safe for meeting. Pray for total peace in Nkwanta and its surroundings

Pastor Nicholas Sekyere

Blessed be to the name of Most High God for another wonderful month.

In the month of April, I travelled to Accra to pick some boxes called Samaritan purse for kids 3 years to 14 years and an outreach was organized to communities and in the first community about 60 children attended with 20 adults. In the second community 45 children and 18 adults attended.

Our annual Easter convention also took place at Ahiatroga on the 17th- 20th of April 2025.

On the 25th April 2025, I also travelled to Akatsi for the burial service of our brother Eric Kudzo Adade who was a church member of Pistis Christian Church, Maame Krobo Afram Plains.

After my return I met my wife very sick and it was a big blow but God has been merciful to us now.

I want to use this opportunity to thank you all, for your support and prayers.

Pray for new souls in Afram Plains and for a successful fund raising at Ahiatroga on 29th June 2025.

Pray for sponsorship to complete our church buildings at Ahiatroga and Maame Krobo.

Pastors Mathew Nwedo and Pastor Yahaya Abraham

April has been a powerful testament to God’s grace, unending mercy, and guiding hand over our lives, families, and the people we serve. Each day, we witness His provision, protection, and silent yet profound works among us, filling our hearts with gratitude.

To God be the glory, we have started our second Samaritan purse program.

As the month came to a close, we rejoiced in the steady growth of the church. Each Friday and Sunday, people gathered from Bulenga and Chaggu to worship, and we marvel at how God is drawing hearts to Himself.

Our Prayer Requests are as follows:

·      That God reveals Himself to the people we witness to

·      God should continue to intervene for his people because almost all the rainfall we experienced this so far, always falls with strong wind

·      We pray for the church to grow both spiritually and physically. May God strengthen those who are struggling and grant them the courage to stand firm in their faith.

·      We seek more opportunities to share the Gospel and for boldness in proclaiming His Word. May the hearts of the Chakali people be open to receiving Christ.

·      That God reveals Himself in ways that leave no doubt in the hearts of the people. May they experience personal encounters with Him that transform their lives forever.

As we continue this journey of faith, we rest in the assurance that God is with us, guiding, providing, and sustaining us. To Him be all the glory. Pictures of our church planting coordinator on Sunday service are below.

Pastor Francis Addae
