Salaga: Many Thanks

By Francis Addae

This is my heartfelt appreciation to God for watching over my life and the entire family for the month of April. Many are the things God has done for me and my family. He gave us protection, food, traveling mercies, and many more, such as healing our diseases. Glory be to God for His kindness and compassion towards us!

In the month of May, I am still committing my family and myself to the protection of God in prayer that He should carry us through, since all the children are at home because of the coronavirus pandemic. This is the time we need extra food, finances, care of protection, and guidance.

I still ask prayers for my family and Ghana as a whole to protect us from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the entire church as well.

About the Ministry

I thank God for helping me to visit all my members in the church of Salaga since the churches are not be able to meet due to government directives about social distances against the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the visitation, I was able to identify some of the members who needed some help.

We also thank God for the gift of a motorcycle for Pastor Isaiah from the office of FAME Ghana. Based on this, the entire leadership of Salaga PCC say thanks to God and to the office of FAME Ghana, and the entire staff. May God bless all of you.

We thank God so much for the lives of the elders and their families through this month. God has been so good to us in visiting the churches.

We also thank God for the help given to us by Agave Pastors, who stood on our behalf to conduct burial service to our late Brother Stephen, whose burial took place at Dzebetato in Volta Region. The family appreciates the help our church offered to them.

We thank God for His mercies towards our works in Salaga and the protection given to all of us.

PRAYER REQUEST IN MINISTRY

  • We should ask God for helping the lives of our donors.

  • I need prayers for Pastor Isaiah and the family.

  • We pray for our friends in USA, for God to protect them in this COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Committing sponsoring churches and their families into the hands of the Lord to protect them from the coronavirus.

  • Pray for the World Health Organization to come up with solutions to cure and vaccine this pandemic.

  • We are to pray for our nation Ghana for this crucial time.

  • We pray for God to heal all those who have contracted the virus.

  • We should also pray for our frontline health workers, especially those who have contracted the coronavirus and are receiving treatment.

  • We are to pray for our churches and that Christians at large will remain in their faith.

Special Requests

  • This is a suggestion: Our churches at Nikata off the road to Ekumdi are requesting a school. The community does not have a school. They started one which had about 100 pupils, but due to financial difficulties the school is not functioning any longer and the children are suffering. Therefore, the community opinion leaders approached Pastor Isaiah to talk to FAME Ghana about taking over the school to save the children’s lives from staying home without schooling. Thank you.

  • We need your prayer support for a couple who has lost everything due to a fire outbreak while they were at work. This incident happened at Makango. They are members from PCC family, a Makango Christian Church. In fact, this couple does not have clothing, a place to sleep, and even money to start life again. Therefore, the church leadership wants to appeal for both prayers and kindness. Thank you.
