He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. – Colossians1:13 - 14 (NKJV)
This month we highlight the amazing transformation happening among the Chakali people in and around Bulenga in the Upper West region of Ghana. The Chakali people are predominantly Muslims and have a few practicing traditional religion as well. Our church planters Matthew Nwedo and Abraham Yahaya have been working among the Chakali people for some years now.

Initially when they started, the people were a bit resistant to the gospel. But with time, as the families of Matthew and Abraham lived among the Chakali people and learned their language, they were able to communicate with the people in their own language. With acts of kindness and support to individuals and families, the hearts of the people have been opened to the word of God. With intensive prayer and consistent door-to-door evangelism, many hearts have been turned to Christ.
In the past two months, twenty souls have accepted Christ and have received baptism by immersion. These were Muslims who have denounced their faith in Islam and turned to Jesus. The chain of Islam and idol worship have been broken over these individuals and their families. Ghana Christian Mission (GCM) takes delight in seeing people come to Christ through our church planting efforts, especially among the Unreached People Groups (UPGs).
Ps Matthew Nwedo, who is one of the church planters among the Chakali people, remarked after the recent baptism, “I wonder what would have happened to all these people without the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ reaching them. Families have been changed and generations are going to be impacted by the new found life in Christ. It is a great honor to be a part of what God is doing in the Chakali land. To Him alone be all the glory!”
Three churches have been successfully planted in the Chakali land at Bulenga, Ducie and Jayiri. We give thanks to God Almighty for making this possible. Thank you to all our donors and partners who have supported us over the years. We are able to achieve all this because of your consistent prayers and financial support. God bless you all.

Pray that GCM’s engagement with the Kantosi people at Kpalworgu in the Upper West region will continue to yield fruitful results.

Glory be to God for the month of September that has ended peacefully.
And again, I want to thank God for the life of my family and the entire church brethren as well.
Two souls have been won at Bankamba in the house of Mr. Kitinbila.
I have been visiting this family for over six months now. And now by the grace of God two of this family members received Christ as their Lord and personal savior to the glory of God. Let us keep them in our prayers. For there are more of them in that family.
Pastor Paul Teivi Lawson – Yzesi
Thanksgiving
We are most grateful to the Almighty God for the gift of life, peace in our communities and the grace of His mercy upon us.
Testimony
On the 3rd Sunday of September, we visited one of our members who gave birth. The husband being a Muslim and the house devoted to idols made it very sensitive for us, knowing very well the pressure upon our member in that house.
We presented a gift of a certain amount of money to her in the presence of the husband. That was when her mother-in-law approached us and told us that we have done well and that she usually opposes her duaghter-in-law’s church going and faith in Christ but she never disrespected her. The husband also gave us an assurance that he will never again interfere in the choice of his wife concerning her faith in Christ. We left the house filled with joy for what the Lord has done in that household. We pray that her husband and mother-in-law will also come to the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ
Prayer Requests
Pray for peace and stability in the northern parts of Ghana
Pray for all church planters and their families
Pastor Paul Akuteye – Kumasi
The month of September is noted for being the ninth month of the year and is used in scripture as a symbol of patience and harmony as well as development. The bible message for the month of September is “I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me”- Philippians 4:13. Proverbs 23:18 says “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off”. It speaks to spiritual resilience and the ability to face every circumstance with strength and contentment.
The churches in Kumasi have started with house-to-house evangelism and soul winning. The church members came in their numbers on Saturdays at 4:00 pm and we all move in twos into the houses around the Oduom township to spread the good news in various houses till 5:30pm. We did the same thing on Sundays as well. We usually start church service by 8:30 am with prayers. 9:00 am to 9:30am we do praises and worship. We move from the auditorium by 10:00am after we have collected our main Sunday offerings and tithes. We divide ourselves into groups of four and move into the Odoum township. We bring the house-to-house evangelism to a close at 11:00 am by praying our closing prayers and move from there to our various homes. The joint initiative or events that could be beneficial for our collective growth is that of a joint church revival meeting, and a joint church musical show by the engagement of our youth and children in our local churches to ensure continuity and growth. Looking into the year 2027, where the Pistis Christian Churches, Ghana are trying to organize the 2027 National Easter Convention successfully, the church in Kumasi is planning in collaboration with the Kumasi Area churches to collaborate to support each other through Training and Equipping church leaders for effective leadership. The churches in Kumasi are filled with students and apprentices. Therefore, finance is our major setback. We are therefore seeking the financial support from benevolent persons to come to our aid by equipping the Kumasi campus of the Dunamis Bible Institute (DBI) to help bring this vision into fruition. There is going to be a joint church meeting from the 24th of September to the 28th of September 2025 at Odoum the Centre. The 26th of September which is on Friday is a joint all-night prayer service. It starts from 9:00pm till 4:00am in the morning. We are expecting God to see us through successfully. Finally, may your partnership and support for us as a church not go unnoticed. Remember, evangelism is a labor of love. Talking about Christ should be as natural to us as talking about our favorite foods, our favorite football teams, and our favorite books to read.
Pastor Nathaniel Napari Abdulai - Loagri

Thanks be to God for His guidance and protection over my life and family and also the church of Loagri, Soo and Kuchoglim. We are grateful to God for taking us through the month of September. To the glory of God on the 13th September one of our Deaconesses, Safuwa Salamatu was enskinned as the Queen Mother of the Loagri Community which brought happiness to the church and the community as well. The church organized a three-day fasting and prayers program from the 24th to the 26th of September. Lastly, we had the opportunity to start a fellowship at the newly built Technical School in Loagri No1.
Prayer Requests
Pray for spiritual growth, that God will help us minister to the people effectively and bring about an increase of believers in the community in Jesus’ name.
Pray for provision, that God will help and bless people to help me get a new motorcycle to replace my old motorcycle which I have to send to the repair shop all the time for repairs and this is making my mission work difficult.
Pray for provision, that God will help us and bless people to support the church at Loagri so that we can purchase a sound system for use during our church services and outreach programs, as planned by the church this year and beyond.
Five immersed in water at Kuchoglim, new church planted new Loagri. To God be all the glory.
Pastor Lengie Lazarus – Chinderi
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This report outlines the key activities, developments and prayer needs across the Chinderi Zone for the month of September. The zone continues to experience growth, both spiritually and numerically, through committed evangelism, leadership dedication and the ongoing support of our members and partners in ministry. The grace of God has been evident in all our endeavors, and we remain confident that the best is yet to come. This report serves to document our collective progress, celebrate milestones, and encourage ongoing prayer and support as we advance the mission of the Gospel.
Evangelism & Soul Winning Activities
Joint Service at Lambuisu – A Spiritual Harvest
The Chinderi Zone organized a special joint service at Lambuisu, with a central focus on soul winning and evangelistic outreach. This gathering brought together members from various branches within the zone for a unified worship experience and strategic outreach. The service was marked by a strong spiritual atmosphere, deep fellowship, and inspiring messages that stirred the hearts of attendees toward the Great Commission. Many recommitted their lives to Christ, and new souls were added to the Kingdom. It was truly a beautiful and impactful moment in Christ, reinforcing our zonal commitment to outreach and unity.
Evangelism Efforts at the Abrewanko Branch
The newly established Abrewanko Branch is making significant strides in evangelism and church expansion. The dedicated soul-winning team has been working tirelessly to reach out to the local community, build relationships, and share the Gospel. Early signs of growth and interest in the church are evident, and the branch is gradually becoming a spiritual hub within its locality. The zeal and consistency of the evangelism team at Abrewanko are commendable and a model for other branches to emulate.
Church Building Projects
We are pleased to report ongoing progress in various church construction projects across the zone. These physical structures are not only buildings, but they symbolize the growing presence and influence of the church in each community.
Chinderi Church Building – Near Completion
The church building at Chinderi has reached its finishing stage. This marks a major milestone in the journey of the zone's development. The structure stands as a testament to the dedication of the local congregation, the support from leadership, and the faithfulness of God. Final touches are underway, and preparations for an official dedication are expected in the near future.
Magnendo Church Building – Progressing Steadily
The church building at Magnendo is currently under construction and showing steady progress. Though the project is still ongoing, the vision remains clear and the leadership is committed to its timely completion. The congregation continues to contribute faithfully, and the momentum remains positive.
Namondo Church Building – A New Beginning
The Namondo branch has officially commenced its building project. This is a significant step forward for the branch, as it transitions from temporary meeting spaces to establishing a permanent place of worship. The enthusiasm among the members is high, and the groundbreaking has ignited a fresh sense of ownership and vision within the church.
Lambuisu Church Building – Planning Phase Underway
At Lambuisu, plans are actively being laid for the commencement of a new church building project. While the project is currently in the planning stage, logistical arrangements and consultations are ongoing to ensure a strong foundation for its eventual launch. We trust that with proper planning and prayer, the project will begin shortly and progress efficiently.
Prayer Request
We acknowledge that all our efforts depend entirely on the grace and guidance of God. We therefore request continuous intercession for the following:
Successful completion and resourcing of all ongoing and upcoming church building projects within the Chinderi Zone.
Continued strength and boldness for our evangelism and soul-winning teams, especially in newly established branches such as Abrewanko.
Spiritual growth, unity, and fruitfulness across all branches in the zone.
Divine wisdom, strength, and direction for the Zonal Leadership, that they may lead with integrity and vision.
An outpouring of revival, renewed passion for ministry, and increased impact in all our communities.
September has been a month of tangible progress, spiritual encounters, and renewed commitment to Kingdom advancement. From evangelism drives to construction projects, the hand of God has been evident in all we have set out to do. As we move forward into the coming months, we remain steadfast in faith, diligent in service, and united in purpose.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our leaders, members, and partners who continue to support the vision of the Chinderi Zone. May the Lord richly bless and reward every labor of love.

10 baptized at Jayiri among the Chakali people and Baptism by immersion at Jayiri among the Chakali people
We greet you all in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are deeply grateful to God for His unending grace and to the management of GCM for their continuous support, prayers, and encouragement toward the work of the Chakali Mission Field in the Wa East District of the Upper West Region.
The Lord continues to demonstrate His faithfulness among the Chakali people. Despite various challenges and family opposition faced by some believers, the three churches under our care Bulenga, Ducie and Jayiri continue to grow steadily in faith, commitment, and numbers. We give glory to God for the gradual yet consistent transformation taking place in the lives of His people.
Jayiri Church
The Jayiri church continues to grow both spiritually and numerically. Although services are still held in a classroom due to the lack of land and a permanent worship place, the congregation remains faithful and committed.
A significant highlight this month is that 10 new believers were baptized into the fellowship of the church. We are deeply thankful to God for this harvest of souls and for the transformation taking place among His people.
Ducie Church
As reported earlier, the church has been allocated land by the community opinion leaders. However, services are still conducted under a tree, which becomes very difficult, especially during the rainy season. We humbly appeal for support to begin constructing a permanent church building to provide a safe and conducive environment for worship.
It is our prayer that these new believers will grow in their faith and become strong disciples of Christ.
Bulenga Church & Mission House
The Bulenga church is also moving forward steadily. We are grateful for the ongoing mission house extension project, made possible through the support of the management of GCM. Once completed, this facility will provide suitable accommodation for the missionary families serving in the field. We continue to thank God and pray for the project’s speedy completion.
Appreciation
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty, the management of GCM, donors and partners for your prayers, guidance, and financial support. Your partnership continues to strengthen us and the believers across the Chakali mission field.

Pray for the spiritual growth and maturity of believers in all three churches.
Pray for boldness and endurance for members who face persecution and opposition from their families.
Pray for God’s provision for permanent church buildings, especially for the Ducie and Jayiri congregations.
Pray for the successful and timely completion of the mission house extension project at Bulenga.
Pray for the 10 newly baptized believers at Jayiri Church that they will stand firm in their faith, not backslide, and remain steadfast even when temptations, trials, or family opposition arise.
Pray for fruitful evangelism efforts, that many more souls among the Chakali people will come to know Christ.
We give all glory and honor to God for His marvelous works among the Chakali people. With your continued prayers and support, we are confident that this mission field will flourish even more and that countless souls will be brought into the Kingdom of God.

The Borae zone, made up of the following Churches, Sanja line Christian church, Ngbeya Christian church, Mempeasem no2 Christian church met at Borae. During this meeting, the zone planned to raise funds to support the continuation of the Borae central church building project. The target amount to be raised to help tile the floor of the church building was GHC150,000.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Ghana cedis). By the grace of God, at the end of our revival/ fund raising service, GHC6000.00 cash was raised and 60 boxes of tiles were pledged by church members.

Mr Agya Enoch was among the first people who joined the church at Borae, and was among the first people baptized by Pastor Samuel Dzobo (Rtd).
Agya Enoch was affected by stroke, in the year 2014 and due to his situation Agya wasn't able to attend Sunday services but the church continued to visit and pray for him. SEPTEMBER 2025 CHAPLAINCY REPORTS
Pastor Yeboah Ernest Junior - FAME Clinic, Benwoko
We bless and glorify God for guiding us through the month of September, full of His love and kindness towards us.
Devotion and all clinical procedures are ongoing. God is performing miracles and healing the sick. He is also granting staff wisdom, knowledge and understanding to handle cases to the glory of His holy name.
We pray and ask management of Ghana Christian Mission (GCM) to speedily resolve our NHIS credentials status.
We appreciate the timely and continuous supply of medicines by GCM, which enables us to deliver good healthcare to our patients. We hope and pray for the month of October will be more glorious in Yeshua HaMashaich's mighty name.
God bless Fame Health Services (FHS) as we continue to spread the Fame of Yeshua HaMashaich.
Pastor Ernest Nyador – FAME Clinic, Akplale
Akplale Clinic is still in existence by the grace and mercy of God. Every activity at the facility is going on as usual. Devotions are part of the mandatory service. Each staff is assigned to lead on a weekly basis.
The facility is waiting eagerly to receive her portion of the medical equipment received from FAME USA.
The enthusiasm of some of the staff, especially the night services is very much encouraging. We are trusting God for more funds to finish the water treatment project for the facility.
We still ask for prayers for a speedy recovery for Dr Lydia Glover Nyador.
We also pray for more donors and breakthroughs for GCM. Finally, we pray for peace and unity to dwell among all staff in all Fame clinics across the country.
One soul has been baptized at Akplale to the glory of God.
Pastor Kingsley Nyindam – FAME Clinic, Tatindo

To God Almighty be all the praise for healing and meeting the physical and spiritual needs of both patients and the staff.
Morning devotions are duly observed before work begins in the morning. Counselling and prayers are made for those who have spiritual needs.
The patients’ attendance is on the increase as we enter the peak of the malaria season. The supply of medicines has been consistent, but the quantity can be increased to avoid the regular shortage.
There was a thunder strike that damaged the electric transformer leaving the community in a total blackout for several days, and there is no indication it will be fixed soon. This is impacting work in the clinic negatively, since most of the gadgets and devices are powered by electricity. We therefore need prayer and also appeal for an alternate (standby) power source to help in times like this.
The extension work at the clinic has been completed awaiting inauguration for its usage.
Pastor Felix Nsejamese - FAME Clinic, Kumdi

We are grateful to the Lord for the wonderful things He has done in Kumdi.
Our morning devotions are ongoing and other clinical services as well. Sometimes cases beyond the clinic’s ability is referred to Kpandai, especially labor cases.
Our challenges are some of the nurses are still problematic and can't be controlled. Upon all the challenges our Lord is still doing wonderful things in Fame Clinic Kumdi.
We had a labor case and after delivery, the child had difficulty in breathing. We prayed and cried to our God and He answered our prayers and brought the child back to life. Glory be to God for all the wonderful things He is doing in Fame Clinic Kumdi.
We also thank all our sponsors and donors and also GCM management for the timely supply of medicine and other clinical equipment. God richly bless you for your effort.
Mother and child after prayers that brought the child back to life
Pastor Paul Teivi Lawson – FAME Clinic, Loagri
The staff of the clinic, all patients and myself are giving thanks to God. Graciously lives have been preserved and hope restored. We have shared the good news to the sick and prayed with them.
The rainy season is always a busy month in terms of attendance by patients. And we are happy that so far, no death has been recorded. Cases that are much severe are handled diligently before directing them to a bigger facility.
We pray for the development of the clinics in terms of infrastructure and human resource. We give glory to the Lord because He reigns in our hearts and in our community.
Pastor Jonathan Sarpeh – Kumdi
Six people received Christ and were baptized at Tadando, one of the churches in the Kumdi District.
