Church Needs: Potable Water, Place of Worship

John Kpormegbe serves with GCM in Ghana.

The following is John's report from the mission field in October/November. Please join us in thanking God and asking for his continued work:

Good morning! I hope the day is bright. The Lord who sees the beginning and the end of everything in life will always be for you in Jesus’ name. From January to October, our Savior has been good to us and for this reason, Banda Christian Church has been doing a great work by appreciating God in every last week in November. I thank God for the entire Church of Plainfield Christian Church for helping me every month. My special greetings to pastor Riley and wife.

The Church is struggling to complete the Chapel just because we are putting funds into the borehole by adding and replacing pipes. Although much has been spent, it has not been enough to provide us with water. We really need an intervention to enable us end the water crisis for the past six years.

I am still praying for miracles to have scholarships for any of my children and some good but vulnerable schoolchildren. The churches are doing their best but facing some persistent challenges such as no potable drinking water and no proper place of worship, which makes them feel reluctant.

Thank God for giving us the opportunity to send brother Benjamin to Tamale CPTM school and hoping to add another one next semester. A big thanks to the Director of FAME/GCM for adding value to the effort of expanding the kingdom of God. May God bless us all.
