Sampson Darko is the GCM evangelist of 5 churches among the Akyode people group in the Nkwanta district in the northern Volta Region. Farming and petty trading is the major occupation of the 12,000+ people there, about 70% of whom are idol worshippers.
The following is Sampson's latest report from the mission field. Please join us in thanking God and asking for his continued work:
Praise God for another opportunity giving to us to be alive. Actually, this month had been very challenging. Series of bereavements from sister churches and family members. Our God had demonstrated to us that He is with us. May His Name be glorified.
Of late, my wife's health has been a challenge. Severe body pain and sleepless night. I am currently waiting for some financial blessings in order to send her to the hospital. We need your prayer support for total healing. The church, my family, and the community need your prayers.
Again, our school shelters had fallen from heavy rainfall. Please, we need support in order for us to have a place for the pupils. We plan to start grade 7 due to demand from parents, but the challenge is about the classrooms. So please help us to achieve this goal.
There was no baptism for this month.
