Kingsley Nyindam is the GCM evangelist at Tatindo in the Zabuzu-Tatale district in the Northern region of Ghana. He evangelizes among the Basari people group, who are 70% Muslim, 15% idol worshipping, and 15% Christian. The following is his recent report from the mission field:
Thank God for the month of July. We have had 14 baptisms. The church is growing both numerically and spiritually as we continue in our walk with the Lord. Seven other people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior in Tatindo church, but we could not baptize them due to lack of water.
Prayer needs: Please join us to pray for rains for the area as most farmers are totally dependent on it. We also need your support in praying for the new converts. Pray for good health for me and my family. Prayer and support for our churches that still meet under trees.
We praise God and thank you all for the food aid. Fourteen bags of corn (maize) was purchased and distribution has been done. Three bags went to the community, precisely one bag to the chief and two to the community. Tatindo church got two bags and the other seven churches had one bag each; the remaining two bags went to the mission house.
