Kumasi Churches Praying to Buy Mini-Bus

Paul Akuteye is the leader of the Pistis Christian churches in Kumasi, Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The following is Paul's report from the mission field in November/December. Please join us in thanking God and asking for his continued work:

I am privileged to be pastoring in Kumasi from January 1, 2012, till now. We had a successful celebration in the month of November 2018. There are several opportunities for the growth of the church in Kumasi.

Therefore, the strategy we adopted from the month of August till now is that the three churches close service at 11:00 a.m. and move to do house-to-house evangelism and report back to the church premises for closing prayer and the benediction before we leave to our various homes. It’s been really enjoyable.

This exercise has brought a lot of new members as well as old ones to church. It has improved our baptism record.

These three churches need only one mini-bus to convey our members to and from church services.

It’s our prayer that the good Lord will bring us a benevolent person or persons to help us buy the said mini-bus, which will cost us about GH₵40,000 (approximately $8,200) in Kumasi.

Our greatest challenge is how to organize our home cells. Schools are reopened, and the good Lord has been good to us and helped us to pay for our children’s school fees, and they are all gone back to school.

We had our annual harvest and thanksgiving on the November 26, 2018. It was awesome. We had GH₵13,000 ($2,700). To God be the glory.

Finally, help me to pray for a supernatural overflow of God’s favor.

May God richly bless you for your partnership and support for us all, is my prayer.
