Project Cure Container On Its Way to Ghana

GCM partners in Phoenix, Arizona, and Project Cure have packed and sent a 40-foot container loaded with medical supplies and equipment on its way to Ghana to be used by our GCM medical clinics.

This container (arriving in December) is the first of two being donated to GCM, with the other possibly going in early 2019. The items inside this first shipment are destined for clinics in Alplele, Makango, and Kumdi and were from a list of desired items. Examples of some of the equipment and supplies that are headed to these clinics are beds, chairs, IV poles, gloves, bandages, syringes, and splints.

Good planning and preparation was necessary to ensure that the container will be delivered outside of the rainy season so that the medical items can be distributed on dry roadways. GCM thanks all who donated or participated in making these container shipments possible, with special thanks to Drs. Bert and Diane Matsumoto and Gavin Woods from Project Cure for orchestrating it.

Project Cure is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with a mission to provide good used medical equipment and supplies to the areas of the world that need it most.
