Paul Tevi serves with GCM in Yzesi and Loagri in northern Ghana.
The following is Paul's latest report from the mission field. Please join us in thanking God and asking for his continued work:
“This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesized about this gracious salvation prepared for you. They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterwards.”
Shalom from Overseas here in Ghana. The Pistis community is so grateful to the Lord for various reasons.
Abraham and Esther took the Vow for better and worse in the church through a colorful ceremony on May 19. Following that event, the elders of the churches were trained by pastor Wisdom and Hayford respectively on Discovery Bible Study and the Role of the Local Church in Mission.
Three news souls have joined us. Looking at their Islamic and Traditional background, it is a very great victory for the kingdom of God.
Through FAME Ghana and some donors, our National Chairman, Pastor Ahiabu Hayford, commissioned Amen Vocational Training Centre. Its purpose is to train young girls by giving them some vocational skills and at the same time introduce Christ to them and make them disciples.
Our Executive Director, Enoch Nyador, also together with his team paid a courtesy visit to us where they interacted with the Chiefs, clinics staff, and churches members.
Currently a 4-day revival program is taking place under the theme from 1 Kings 18:15.
PRAYER NEEDS
Let’s pray against the Islamic and their satellite groups operating now in Burkina Faso by attacking churches. Our borders being so porous, they can easily descend to Ghana and cause havoc in the Christian community.
Two of the three (Mary and Paul) baptized today, here in Yzesi.
